I'm Markus Houston Founder of Relocating Help Outreach,

I never imagined I’d become homeless. I was once a six-figure real estate professional, living the life many dream of. But when the real estate market collapsed, everything I’d built vanished — my income, my family, and my stability. The sudden fall left me devastated, and eventually, I found myself homeless.

Homeless, heartbroken, and without guidance, I experienced the deep pain, confusion, and fear that so many others face in silence. During my darkest hours, I realized just how broken the system is, and how easily people fall through the cracks. From unsafe shelters to stolen documents, lack of transportation, and no access to basic hygiene — it’s not just about being without a roof. It’s about being without direction, opportunity, or hope. Most people don’t realize the uphill battle it is to get even the basics back.

Like many, I believed the myth that there were plenty of resources available if people just wanted help. But living it firsthand, I realized how difficult the system is to navigate — especially when you’re starting with nothing. It opened my eyes to how wrong I had been when I used to judge people from the comfort of my car.

That experience gave birth to Relocating Help Outreach. I created this organization to expedite the homeless recovery process for others within 90-120 days — especially those without a voice, direction, or support. Through faith-based transitional housing, resources, and empowerment, we help men and women rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. We’re not just offering shelter — we’re providing a foundation for people to rebuild their lives, reunite with loved ones, and return to society with dignity and stability.
